Missing Data or Events

Symptom: Events or metrics not showing.

Check 1: Is the agent in LIVE mode?

The agent runs in `--simulate` or `--live` mode.

Simulate = generates fake data (for testing)
Live = real traffic (production)

For real traffic, use --live.

Check 2: Are events actually happening?

If your server has no traffic, there's nothing to monitor. - Test: `curl YOUR_SERVER/api/agents/heartbeat` should log

Check 3: Filters

Dashboard has filters (1h/24h/7d). Try switching to "30 days".

Check 4: Metrics tab empty?

The agent sends metrics every 30 seconds. Wait 60s, then click "Health" tab.

Check 5: Agent has permissions?

The agent needs to read: - /proc (Linux) - system logs - network stats

Run as root or sudo.
